Fresh Cranberry Relish Recipe


Fresh Cranberry Relish

Ingredients
  • 1 large navel orange
  • 1 medium lemon
  • One 12- ounce package fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
  • 1 Golden Delicious apple, halved, cored, and cut into large pieces
  • 21⁄2 cups sugar
Cooking Directions
  1. Peel the orange and lemon and place in a food processor with the cranberries and the apple.
  2. Pulse to a coarse texture.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl, add the sugar, and mix well.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  5. Place the mixture in a fine- mesh strainer and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
