Brown Sugar Whipped Cream

Brown Sugar Whipped Cream

Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons of your favorite brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cooking Directions
  1. Combine 1⁄4 cup of the heavy cream and all of the brown sugar in a small saucepan. 
  2. Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. 
  3. Transfer to a medium-size bowl nestled in a larger bowl of ice water. 
  4. Let stand until the cream and the bowl are chilled.
  5. Add the remaining 3⁄4 cup of cream and the vanilla. 
  6. Using a handheld electric mixer at high speed, beat the cream until soft peaks form. 
  7. Refrigerate until ready to use.
