Brown Sugar Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons of your favorite brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine 1⁄4 cup of the heavy cream and all of the brown sugar in a small saucepan.
- Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Transfer to a medium-size bowl nestled in a larger bowl of ice water.
- Let stand until the cream and the bowl are chilled.
- Add the remaining 3⁄4 cup of cream and the vanilla.
- Using a handheld electric mixer at high speed, beat the cream until soft peaks form.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
